AMBAJOGAI: 

The town is famous for the Heritage temple of goddess Yogeshwari that is visited by people from all over Maharashtra especially those from the konkan region. The town has other heritage temples like Kholeshwar, Mukunrlraj and Dasopant.

DHARUR (45 KM NORTH-WEST OF AMBAJOGAI):

The hill fort of Dharur is over 400 years old. It offers a panoramic view of the surroundings. The fort ramparts are of masonry and have a height of nearly 30.48 to 38.10 m (100 to 125 ft.). Only the frameworks of the dilapidated gates seem to remain now. Inside is a mosque, probably as old as the fort itself. The fort also contains a tank and three big wells. In the centre of this tank is a bore of 152.4 mm. (6") diametre and it appears to be the source of water to the tank.

NAIGAON PEACOCK SANCTUARY:

Naigaon Peacock Sanctuary is the only sanctuary of its kind in Maharashtra. Apart from peacocks, the national's bird, the variety of fauna includes hyena, wolves, jackal, hare and wild cats. It also includes the large range of flora. The Best time to visit to the Naigaon Peacock Sanctuary is from September to March.

PARLI VAIJNATH:


One of the twelve Jyotirlingas is located near Parli in Beed District. The temple is situated on a hill, It suffers east with the doors in south-north direction. Lord Shiva stay here with Goddess Parvati. There is a large pillarless hall, built out of by sagwan wood. Padwa, Navratri Ustav, and Shivratri are the festivals celebrated there.
